Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 2025

Welcome to our website. By accessing or using our site or working with our family business, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully.

1. About Our Business

We are a small Amish family business providing handcrafted cabinetry and furniture for homeowners across Craig County and Southwest Virginia. All pieces are custom-made using traditional methods and high-quality materials.

2. Custom Work

All cabinets and furniture we create are custom-built to the customer’s specifications. Because each project is unique, slight variations in color, grain, and finish are normal and part of handcrafted work.

3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of quoting

Quotes remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.

Any changes in materials, dimensions, features, or design may result in updated pricing.

4. Deposit & Payments

A 50% deposit is required to begin any project.

The remaining balance is due upon delivery or installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has begun.

Payments may be made by cash, check, or other agreed-upon payment methods.

5. Turnaround Time

Typical turnaround time is 6–12 weeks, depending on project size and current workload.

This timeframe is an estimate and may be affected by material availability, weather, or other factors outside our control.

We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.

6. Delivery & Installation

We offer both delivery and installation services.

Customers are responsible for:

Ensuring the installation area is accessible, cleared, and safe

Confirming accurate measurements (we can assist upon request)

Any return trips caused by site conditions not previously communicated may incur additional fees.

7. Changes, Revisions & Cancellations

Once work has begun:

Changes are allowed, but may incur additional fees based on work already completed (pro-rated time and materials).

Materials already cut, finished, or purchased cannot be refunded.

Cancellations after work begins may result in the forfeiture of the deposit and additional charges for labor or materials used.

These terms reflect the notes in your scanned page (page 1, question 5).

8. Warranty on Craftsmanship

We stand behind our work with a 10-year craftsmanship warranty, covering defects in workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

Damage from misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or modifications

Normal wear, aging, or wood’s natural movement

Issues caused by humidity, water damage, or environmental changes

If craftsmanship issues arise, please contact us and we will assess the situation.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate measurements and details (or request our measurement services)

• Approve all final design drawings before production

• Ensure reasonable access for delivery and installation

• Make timely payments according to agreed terms

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.

Custom woodworking involves natural materials; characteristics of solid wood such as knots, grain variation, color changes, and seasonal movement are not considered defects.

11. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

Not misuse or attempt to harm the site

Not copy or redistribute our images, designs, or content without permission

All website content is owned by our family business and protected by copyright laws.

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry or provide service.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

13. Service Area

We primarily serve Craig County, Roanoke, Fincastle, Salem, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and surrounding Southwest Virginia communities, but may accept projects outside this area on a caseby-case basis.
